Come see The Accountant presented with stunning 4K laser projection on the big screen in L3!

I was not expecting The Accountant to be as interesting and unique as it was. The film follows Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck), a highly efficient math savant and accountant who also operates as a lethal assassin. When Christian and Dana (Anna Kendrick) uncover a monumentally massive embezzlement scheme, the two find themselves pulled into a spiral of crime where, as the money amounts, so do the bodies. Gavin O’Connor mixes action with a more thoughtful storyline with a main character that's quite different from typical action leads. The story unfolds in a way that slowly reveals more details, so it’s worth paying attention. There’s a good balance between intense action scenes and quieter moments that build character and tension. It can feel a bit complex at times but that adds to the overall intrigue. Overall, it’s an enjoyable film that offers something a bit different from standard action movies and is definitely worth watching. [Jayvin Chahel]

PLEASE NOTE: This screening is being held in collaboration with MOSAIC, the shared committee between the Computer Science, Mathematics and Statistics departments, in celebration of Autism Awareness Month. Students of these departments will be able to attend this screening for free and can get their free ticket at the tills on the day of the show.
