The second entry in one of horror’s gnarliest franchises and clocking in at just under an hour and a half, this film is a tight, non-stop rollercoaster of action, comedy, and horror working in perfect tandem to deliver an exhilaratingly entertaining pseudo-remake of Raimi’s previous The Evil Dead. Once again, Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams is thrown to the mercy of demons and deadites as he and his girlfriend accidentally unleash an evening of terror while visiting an idyllic woodland cabin.
