This is the event for the 2026-27 Welcome Week Societies Fairs, located at the Sports and Wellness Hub.

DAY 2 of 2

Hosted by Warwick SU's Student Activities team, this is a fantastic opportunity to chat to the Executive Committees that run the 250+ societies here at Warwick. You'll be able to get a feel for what activities you might like to be involved in, and see what opportunities are out there for you within those societies! Intro Talk: What are Alternative Proteins?: 30th September; S0.20 (Social Sciences North and South, Ground Floor); How will we feed 10 billion people by 2050? Billions of people worldwide love meat. But simply scaling up business-as-usual meat production is incompatible with meeting the world's climate, biodiversity, public health, and food security goals.

Cheese, Chocolate & Wine Tasting 🍷🧀🍫 (Cheese and Chocolate Society X Winesoc): 1st October; OC1.06 (The Oculus, First Floor); Indulge your taste buds at our collaborative tasting event with WineSoc! Sample a selection of cheeses, chocolates, wines, and enjoy a sophisticated yet welcoming evening with fellow students.

Plant-based Universities x Warwick Alt Protein Film Night: 1st October; S0.13 (Social Sciences North and South, Ground Floor); Come along, grab a seat, and enjoy some snacks while chatting to our members and fellow students afterwards!

Hot Chocolate Movie Night ☕🎬 with Cheese & Chocolate Society: 4th October; S0.20 (Social Sciences North and South, Ground Floor); Round off Freshers' Week with a cosy movie night featuring rich hot chocolate, great company, and a feel-good film. Bring your friends, settle in, and enjoy the perfect relaxed end to an exciting week on campus.

Wychavon 2026: 31st October; TDMS (The De Montfort School), Four Pools Road, Evesham, Worcestershire WR11 1DQ; Wychavon Festival of Brass is an annual brass band competition held in Evesham. We will be competing in the Fourth section and playing a 20-minute set in the hopes of retaining our trophy!
