Warwick Student Cinema - Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl - Early

Event from Warwick Student Cinema

Friday 29 May 2026, 6.30PM - Friday 29 May 2026, 8.30PM

L3

Come see Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl presented with stunning 4K laser projection on the big screen in L3!

If you’re ready to clamber aboard and set your sails for an evening of swashbuckling adventure, then you will love what Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl has to offer. This fantasy across the seven seas follows the charismatic, drunkard Captain Jack Sparrow and talented Blacksmith Will Turner on their quest to find Elizabeth, the Governor’s daughter, after she is kidnapped by the notorious Black Pearl, led by the infamous Captain Barbossa. But little do we know that the ship and its crew have been cursed to toe the lines between life and death. With the film being a fan favourite, it’s the perfect way to start the beginning of a binge-worthy franchise. Who can deny the thrill one gets when the adrenaline-inducing musical composition of Klaus Badelt is heard amidst a visually stunning chase between ships, featuring visuals so hauntingly beautiful that it truly feels like you are onboard the ghost ship amongst the action and the undead. The film balances the titillation of pirates during the Golden Age of Piracy, macabre fantasy and romance so there is something for everyone to enjoy, and who can resist the witty humour of Jack Sparrow that is guaranteed to entice you to stick around for the pirate’s tale. [Mason Stannard-Parages]
