Come see Tony presented with stunning 4K laser projection on the big screen in L3!

Starring Dominic Sessa, Leo Woodall, Stavros Halkias, and Antonio Banderas, Matt Johnson’s Tony follows a young and arrogant Anthony Bourdain as he works in a kitchen in Cape Cod. He is immediately outpaced and shown up by his colleagues and their experience in this restaurant, giving Tony the metaphorical and physical slap in the face he clearly deserves.

This is one of the better biopics to come out recently, in my opinion, because it focuses on a more important, formative time of the subject’s life, rather than condensing their entire story into two hours and leaving out crucial detail. This is one of the leading reasons the Bourdain estate has endorsed the film, as well as because of its portrayal of the author’s character and integrity. Some unexpectedly heartwarming moments and a lot of laughs make Tony one of my favourite films of the year thus far. [Jacob Martindale]
