One Night Only is set in a near-future America where single people are only allowed to have sex for one night each year. The film follows recently dumped Owen and the somewhat shy Allie as they meet in New York. Although they are surrounded by people looking for casual one-night stands, they unexpectedly begin looking for something more meaningful. Their attempts to find each other again are complicated by a series of misadventures across the city. It is an entertaining premise, paired with two charming leads, and should appeal to anyone who enjoys light-hearted rom-coms such as Anyone but You or People We Meet on Vacation. [Emily Allen]
