In your lifetime, you'll spend 80,000 hours working. This makes your career choice one of your biggest opportunities to make a positive, lasting difference in the world. But how do you actually choose "the right" path?
Join Effective Altruism Warwick for a hands-on workshop and discussion night designed to help you build a personalised career roadmap in fields like Global Health, AI Safety, Animal Ethics, Biosecurity and others.
We'll walk you through evidence-based resources from organisations like 80,000 Hours to help you understand what actually makes a career impactful, how to find a problem/role that fits you, and concrete steps or mentoring to help you plan a career aimed at having a positive impact.
All degrees and year groups are welcome to join!
