Slacklining is the activity of balancing on a strip of webbing that is fixed above the ground between two anchors, usually trees. You can stand, walk and even jump or do tricks, each requiring an increasing level of balance and dexterity. Slacklining is a social activity, best practised in the company of others, which has been the main motivation for creating this society. We cater to all abilities and above all we value relaxing and having a good time.
Sessions are twice weekly:
Thursdays - 1-2:30pm on Campus
Sundays - 4-5.30pm in Jephson's Gardens, Leamington Spa
On campus we'll be meeting on the grass by the piazza and on Sunday we'll be by the river in Jephsons. Meetups will be very casual so feel free to drop by for any amount of time that you can. We will be playing music, relaxing and of course Slacklining!
