We aim to bring together all those with a love for the Harry Potter franchise, whether it is the films, books or both! The society offers the chance to meet with like-minded people during movie nights, quizzes, themed circling, Quidditch matches, and Harry Potter-related trips. We are also the home of Warwick Quidditch Club - a competitive quidditch team competing both nationally and internationally across a variety of tournaments, and Southern Cup champions 2016.

How is the season structured?
The season begins with regionals; Southern and Northern. These take place between October and November of the academic year. Then, the British Quidditch Cup is held the following March. Here, you’ll get the chance to play against other university and community teams such as the Durham University Quidditch Club, Southampton Quidditch Club and the Nottingham Nightmares (that’s just to name a few!). Finally, the European Quidditch Cup is held in April where you may even get the chance to play against some of the best teams in Europe! We train 2-3 times a week on campus. Check out the team’s Facebook page to find out more and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions!

Our society is happy to support Lumos, which is a fantastic children’s charity set up by J. K. Rowling and Emma Nicholson. Lumos works with disadvantaged children across Europe, and tries to address problems in children’s homes and other institutions. As well as helping individual children and their families, Lumos works with governments to improve education, health and social care systems for institutionalised children. We will be running events throughout the year to support Lumos, and we hope you enjoy raising money with us.
