Sports Clubs
Warwick Uni Rugby League is one of the friendliest and most successful clubs on campus. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve got years of rugby experience or if you’ve never held a ball, WURL has something for everyone. The 1st team compete every week in the BUCS Southern Tier 2 alongside teams such as Nottingham, Leicester and Birmingham as well as the BUCS National Cup. We also have some development games to give extra game time to those who are new to the game. We are also looking to play in a local tag league later in the year to keep us playing after the season is over. We aren’t just about competitive rugby though. We have plenty of drinking and non drinking socials planned for this year including watching Super league games and our annual old boys event in term 2. Every Wednesday, we meet to circle in Leamington’s finest establishment, the Pig and Fiddle, before heading to Pop. We also organise an international mystery-tour in Easter (past destinations have included Prague and Budapest).
Fixtures begin on the 16th October:
We train twice a week on Mondays and Fridays with games on Wednesdays. Monday sessions are taken by head coach Troy Perkins (ex Australian professional RL player). Message our instagram (@warwickunirugbyleague) if you're interested in training with us.

Friday: 2:30 - 4:00 PM on Westwood 3G
