Welcome to Rifle Club!
Warwick Rifle Club is a committed sports club open to anyone with an interest in shooting. Whether you can hit a V-bull from 1000 yards or have never tried shooting before, we'd love to see you out on the range! We organise range days most Saturdays as well as the odd clays trip and occasional competition at the National Shooting Centre. We also host a range of socials across the year so there is always plenty to do! Check out our socials at the bottom for more information!

General Information
We are an off-campus sports club so to join you will need the off-campus pass (unless you already have an on-campus pass). We cater to both target shooting and clay pigeon shooting so if you prefer a shotgun to a rifle we've got you covered! All current students, staff and almuni are welcome to join the club, there are no skill level restrictions and you will be taught everything you need to know to shoot safely. We also run regular socials which are publicised on our social media (links at the bottom). Lastly, we organise trips to the National Shooting Centre at Bisley to take part in various competitions shooting at ranges over 1000 yards, so if that sounds exciting then sign up and get involved!
Rifle Information
The club uses a range of .22 calibre rifles on a 25-yard indoor range at Solihull and we also have air rifles which we use from time to time. Our clubs sessions are every Saturday from 10:30 to 4pm during term time unless otherwise stated on our Facebook, and each session costs £10 which includes range fee, ammo and transport. The pick-up and drop-off point for shooting sessions is on-campus at the Piazza. We also shoot in BUCS Smallbore so if you're interested in competing against other universities then please sign up! When we go to Bisley, we shoot 7.62 calibre fullbore rifles at ranges of 300 - 1200 yards. Trips to Bisley will be advertised through our socials so keep an eye out!
Clays Information
We will be running termly or bi-termly clay pigeon sessions at our partnered ground Honesberie Shooting school. We aim to have at least 6 people (including 2 drivers) in each session which are fully coached by instructors at Honesberie. This is more expensive than rifle shooting, around £65 per person depending on the number of people in attendence, and in previous years we have competed in BUCS Clays which offers very good value for money in terms of number of clays shot!
