Who we are:
UWCA are the university’s foremost right of centre movement and the most active political society on campus. We bring together like-minded people to not only discuss politics and promote conservative values, but also to enjoy a host of socials, speaker events and debates.
There has never been a better time to join UWCA.
So whether you’re a pavement-pounding Tory, a keen debater, want to meet leading Conservative figures, or just want to make new friends, then pop along to one of our events and say hello!

What we do:
As one of the most active and fast-growing political societies in the United Kingdom, we have been fortunate enough to host a number of thought provoking and influential speakers in recent years, including; Rishi Sunak, James Cleverly, Michael Fabricant, Gillian Keegan, Jacob Rees-Mogg, Andrew Bridgen and many more!
This year is certainly no exception: with the likes of Andrea Leadsom, Jonathan Gullis and Marcus Jones joining us in Term 1!
Whether it’s Bowling, Karaoke, or simply heading to the pub, our social secretaries put on a tonne of socials for members throughout the year. There's a great mix of both drinking and non-drinking socials, so there is truly something for everyone! In !erm 1 we are planning on going Go-Karting and Clay Pigeon Shooting and of course, we will have plenty of Circles and bar crawls!
Get in touch with us to be added to our new freshers' chat.
Throughout the year we put on a number of fundraisers, such as taking on Warwick Labour at football and pub quizzes, so we can contribute to good causes both locally and nationally.
Over the next academic year, UWCA is raring to get our teeth sunk into a number of campaigns off-campus.
We have always been an active campaigning society, and over the years have built relationships with a number of MPs and local Conservative Associations.
We campaigned in marginal seats in the 2019 general election and 2021 local elections and will be continuing to campaign hard across Warwickshire for the 2022 local elections.
