🐎 Animal Rights Warwick is an inclusive society for animal liberation, animal product-free diets, and animal-conscious lifestyles. Our society is committed to the freedom of all non-human and human animals.

🐬We are the most welcoming society on campus for people of all backgrounds. We pride ourselves in being accessible to all genders and sexualities, ethnic minorities, international students, postgraduate students, neurodivergent students and disabled students. You do not need to be vegan, vegetarian, or an animal expert to get involved!

💜 For all Warwick students, our Standard Membership to join the society is FREE! You do not need this to attend any of our events, but it really helps us out! 

🐷 We have an extremely wide range of events for people of all interests, and we function as a welcoming, friendly community.

Our frequent events and activities are as follows:

🕊️ Liberation Campaigns

• The scale of animal exploitation is conspicuous in intensive industrial farming, physical mutilations, selective breeding, animal testing, experimentation and research, fashion, entertainment, performance, tourism, zoo & park captivity, animal labour & transport, the wildlife trade, organised fighting, trophy hunting, commercial use, abuse & neglect, and more.
• We therefore have abundant cause for our frequent campaign stalls both on campus and in the local area, where we speak to students and locals about pressing animal rights issues.
• We also attend rallies and solidarity events. We situate ourselves in the university’s ‘Left Network’ and are amongst both the ‘Liberation Societies’ and the ‘Environmental Societies’, showing solidarity to various causes. We have championed Plant-Based Universities (PBU) at Warwick, Warwick Stands with Palestine (WSWP), and Warwick Against Hate (WAH) – umbrella organisations whose movements are intertwined with ours.

🥘 Free Cooking Classes and Picnics

• Our plant-based cooking classes and casual cooking sessions are free for anyone to join, regardless of your cooking abilities.
• We also host educational tasting sessions for alternatives to animal products, food crawls in Coventry, Leamington, and Birmingham, and free picnics.

📚 Book Clubs and Film Screenings

• Our weekly, educational book club on various books is themed around animal rights and liberation. We also often host film screenings that cover similar themes.

💬 Educational Talks and Debates

• Our recurring ‘Paws and Policy’ debate events involve casual, informal discourse on formal and informal topics, with optional drinking. We also invite illustrious speakers and host talks to gain a comprehensive understanding on specific topics.

🐾 Socials, Circles and Trips

• We host various social events in truly member-led fashion, allowing all members to contribute ideas of their own spontaneously. We often do nature walks, board games, karaoke nights, outdoor games, social trips, restaurant and café trips, and circles. We also host an annual farm animal sanctuary trip,
