As a society we are dedicated to bridging the gap between different fields to create a truly interdisciplinary university experience. While our primary focus is on science, we actively collaborate with a wide range of courses and disciplines to broaden our members’ perspectives and connect them with students and experts from across academia.

Speaker Events

We regularly invite speakers from across the scientific world to hear from experts about innovative ideas spanning multiple areas of knowledge. Previous notable speakers include Nobel Prize Winner Sir Paul Nurse and MRC director Professor Jan Löwe.

Socials

It’s not all about academics—throughout the year, we host a variety of fun events, from pub golf to circling, so you can make friends, relax, and fully enjoy the university experience.

Informal Seminars

These casual conversation allow you to talk with peers in other year groups and be supported with tips and tricks to make the best of your academic journey.
