Warwick International Development Summit (WIDS) is the largest student run development summit in the UK. Our seventh annual summit is being held from the 16th-18th November 2012 at the Zeeman Building (University of Warwick). This years theme is “The Faces of International Development: Old Ideas, New Solutions”.

Our speakers this year include Mahmoud Mohieldin (Managing Director, World Bank), Jeffrey Sachs (live video conference, Director, Earth Institute Columbia University) and Lord Meghnad Desai (Emeritus Professor and Founder of Global Governance Institute LSE) amongst other high profile figures.

There are two ticket types available to purchase:

  1. Weekend Tickets: All weekend tickets are priced at £12 and include all talks throughout the summit, a welcome pack, the Friday evening wine reception, a pre lunch networking session with some of our esteemed speakers (light snacks provided) as well as refreshments throughout the summit weekend.
  2. Premium Tickets: Premium Tickets are priced at £30 and include everything a weekend ticket has to offer in addition to an exclusive three course dinner on Saturday evening with our speakers from 7 pm onwards at Ego, Kenilworth. There are only 10 premium tickets available and they will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.

Registration starts at 6pm on Friday, 16th November in The Street (Zeeman Building foyer).
