Vice President for Sports

She/Her

As VP Sports, my role is primarily to represent and support our student-run clubs within the SU, in co-ordination with the full-time staff in the Membership team.

I am also responsible for setting the strategic direction for sport within the SU, and as such I work closely alongside Warwick Sport, others at the university, and other key organisations such as BUCS to achieve the best possible sporting experience for our students.

Fun fact about me:

A Guinness is my favourite pint to pour. I can pour it with a Shamrock!

My role and what I hope to achieve this year:

Sport has the power to bring people together, build confidence and create a sense of belonging, and I want every student to have the opportunity to experience that. This year, I'm looking forward to contributing to the Sports Partnership Review, helping make sport more accessible by addressing barriers to participation, and exploring practical ways to make life easier for the student committee and executive members who work so hard behind the scenes to keep clubs running. Most importantly, I want to be a representative who listens, communicates openly and acts on what students need.
