UNICEF on Campus is the first step on your journey. We're a student-led fundraising and advocacy society raising money and awareness for children worldwide, in affiliation with UNICEF UK.
Our goal simple: bringing people together to have fun, get involved and make a difference.
We are a friendly, welcoming and inclusive family, always open to new members who want to help in whatever way they can. Keep an eye out for our freshers week events and check our social media @warwickunicef to get involved
Fundraising
The Fundraising Team brings people together through fun and interactive events, all while raising money for UNICEF's work around the world. From hot chocolate and bake-sale stalls to Polaroid pop-ups and Puppy Therapy, to fun socials like Charity Pub Crawls and parties, we're always finding creative ways to make fundraising fun and meaningful on campus.
Getting involved is easy! Come along to our events, take part in the activities, volunteer at our fundraisers or bring your friends along. You can also share your own creative fundraising ideas and help us turn them into something impactful.
Campaigns
We organise and run events centred around important global causes, taking place on what we call "Impact Days." Each Impact Day focuses on a different issue affecting children and communities around the world, giving students the opportunity to learn, engage, and understand how these issues affect people globally.
Join us at our Impact Days! Take part in fun activities, learn about an important cause, get involved with out events, and help spread awareness. Whether you come along to learn something new or encourage your friends to join in, every voice can make an impact.
Volunteering
We also organise and run volunteering trips in the local community which align with UNICEF's mission. These trips allow you to make a difference to the world we live in and make lifelong friends.
We run volunteering trips all year round, and these are advertised on our Instagram and Whatsapp group chat - so check these regularly to sign up to new events!
Last year we worked with charities such as Carriers of Hope Coventry and Feed the Hungry UK, on volunteering events ranging from educational and tutoring support to preparing food packages for families in need. Volunteering with us will also help you gain Warwick Award volunteering hours and develop teamwork, leadership and communication skills.
Schools Project
UNICEF Schools Project was awarded Project of the Year 2025 at the Warwick Volunteer Awards!
Schools Project is one of our biggest volunteering initiatives. We visit local primary schools and run interactive workshops that make global issues easy and fun to understand, educating the next generation while inspiring them to create change.
As a Schools Project volunteer, you'll form groups to visit schools across the Midlands and teach sessions on subjects like AI, Climate Change, Immigration and more.
Socials
Last but not least - socials! This year, we are taking a different turn in regards to our events by creating more inclusive socials, rendering them suited to university life whilst still in touch with what UNICEF stands for.
For Term 1, we've got a Charity Pub Crawl and a Halloween Party lined up, with more to come throughout the year. Further, we host loads of collaborations with multiple societies across campus to enhance your experience with the society. Stay tuned!
