TEDxWarwick

The University of Warwick’s campus is home to several annual conferences. Somehow, amidst the oversaturation of day-long events that promise to enrich your mind and capture your imagination, one inevitably stands out year after year. TEDxWarwick is one of the most diverse, inclusive, and versatile conferences that the university has to offer, providing a range of ideas far-reaching beyond a single discipline or interest.

Building on years of success, TEDxWarwick has continued to evolve, delivering impactful and thought-provoking events that resonate with increasingly diverse audiences.
Our 2025 flagship conference, “Faces and Phases: The Journey of Womanhood,” explored the multifaceted experiences of women across different stages of life. The event brought together powerful voices and perspectives, featuring speakers such as Unjaded Jade, Amber Rose, and Tax Alam. Through deeply personal stories and critical discussions, the conference highlighted identity, growth, and the social narratives that shape womanhood.
In 2026, TEDxWarwick expanded its reach through both intimate and large-scale formats. Our Salon Event, “When Progress Outruns Reflection,” created a more open, interactive space for dialogue. Moving away from traditional formats, this event encouraged students to step forward, share their own thoughts, and actively engage in conversations about the fast pace of modern life. It emphasised the importance of pausing to reflect on personal and collective progress, an idea that strongly resonated with attendees.
The 2026 flagship conference, “Jigsaw,” returned to the grand stage with a compelling central theme: understanding life as a collection of scattered pieces that gradually come together to form a meaningful whole. The event explored how individual experiences, perspectives, and societal contributions interconnect to create a larger picture. Featuring inspiring speakers such as Dr Faye Bate, Heather Fisher, and Graham Allott, “Jigsaw” encouraged audiences to embrace uncertainty, trust the process, and find meaning in the connections that shape our lives.

TEDxWarwick 2026/27 aims to continue in the footsteps of previous conferences, making our hunt for ideas worth sharing more ambitious and expansive than ever before. Besides attending our conferences, you can also get involved by joining our Executive team or applying to give your very own TEDx talk.
