The aims and objectives of the society are to: 

• Cater for the needs of the members.
• Organise events as a means of gathering the Mauritians studying here.
• Promote the Mauritian culture and traditions.
• Maintain a close link with Mauritian Societies from other Universities in the UK.
• Help newcomers to integrate the University life
