Krishna Consciousness Society

Who am I? What is my purpose? What actually makes a person happy, and why do bad things happen to good people?

University is the one time in your life you get to sit with questions like these among people who take them seriously. That is what we are here for.

Warwick KCSOC is your on-campus spiritual home. We are a tight-knit community exploring bhakti yoga, mantra meditation and Vedic philosophy through weekly discussions, live music, sport and retreats across the UK. Whatever your faith or starting point, you are welcome here. No experience, no commitment and no prior knowledge needed.

What's on every week

Thursdays · with Warwick Hindu Society

Gita Circles

Weekly sessions where we explore the various themes of the Bhagavad Gita and how it can be applied to our daily lives. Stay around later for kirtan and a delicious free hot dinner!

Thursdays

Speaker Sessions and Debates

Dive deeper with unique sessions from guest speakers, monks, academics and practitioners on consciousness, karma, ethics. Also planning debates where no question will be left answered. Followed of course by kirtan and some hearty prasadam :)

Fridays · two hours in the FAB

Friday Night Kirtan

The heart of KCSOC. Call-and-response mantra meditation, every single week. Come to listen, to sing, or  even learn an instrument.

Throughout term

Sports Socials

(TBC) Badminton and football with the society. Come to socialise with like-minded spiritualists!

Retreats

Four times a year we leave campus behind entirely.

Two day retreats at Bhaktivedanta Manor. Kirtan, philosophy and prasadam at one of the most beautiful temples in the country.

Two weekend retreats at the Vedanta, Lincolnshire. Long conversations, good food, kirtan into the night and a proper reset.
