ABOUT US

Delightful food, fantastic music, a rich and captivating history, beautiful landscapes and treasured traditions – Warwick Bulgarian Society's aims are to create a place for people to explore and/or reconnect with Bulgarian culture. Whether you are a Bulgarian student who wants to experience the legendary Bulgarian parties, meet like-minded individuals and receive valuable advice from senior students, or are an international or UK student who wants to find out more about Bulgarian culture, history and traditions, Warwick Bulgarian Society can offer all that and much more.

As always we will keep organising our one-of-a-kind parties at our favourite venue Avon (not to be missed!), but also get ready to enjoy new and exciting events such as Eastern European parties, Circling, Pizza and Games night, just to name a few. We are also a Cultural society, so you will have the opportunity to learn more about our traditions. We plan folklore dance classes (horoteka), movie nights with well-known Bulgarian movies, trips to Bulgarian theatre performances and many more. Noteworthy is our Alumni Conference, as well, where you can meet Bulgarian alumni and gain valuable insights in their fields, whilst also being able to seek their advice for any future application processes.
