Warwick Students’ Union is delighted to welcome our new Chief Executive Officer, Roohi Mehra.

Roohi joins us most recently from an Officer Commanding (OC) role within the Ministry of Defence, but she also has several years of experience working at the University of Birmingham and the University of Hertfordshire, as well as being on the Board of Governors at the University of Derby.

Our incoming SU President, Will Brewer, said:

“Roohi was an outstanding candidate throughout the selection process, and her people, leadership and EDI skills were all very impressive. I have been looking forward to working with her for some time now, and I am very excited to see where she can take the organisation. I have no doubt that she has students' interests at the heart of her decision-making, and that her appointment will see the SU grow to be the best it can be for our students.

Following her first few days in post last week, Roohi said:

“Warwick Students’ Union is an incredible organisation with a fantastic team who have endless enthusiasm and passion. I am excited about working with them for the benefit of our students, and achieving our vision of being a world-class Students’ Union for a world-class University.”
