Warwick Students’ Union is a charitable membership organisation which exists to represent the views and interests of all students at Warwick University. We also run significant commercial services whose surpluses are used to subsidise these welfare, representational, social and developmental activities for our members.
The Trustees of Warwick SU are fundamental to the success of the charity and are responsible for its financial sustainability and strategic direction.
We are looking for up to 2 additional volunteer Student Trustees for the term of office commencing 1st August 2017 who can commit 4 to 6 hours per month, largely in early evenings.
To be a Student Trustee, you must be a student at Warwick University in the academic year 2017-18, be over 18 years old when you take up appointment and you must have no unspent criminal convictions. Appointed Student Trustees cannot be employees of the SU.
Warwick SU is committed to valuing diversity and works to ensure all people are able to give of their best to the SU. All decisions are taken on merit. We would really like to maintain a wide variety of experiences and skills on our Trustee Board and welcome applications from all students in any of the demographic groups that make up the student body here at Warwick.
