University card replacement fees abolished!

Following lobbying from myself and other SU officers over the past year, we're pleased to announce that the University has agreed to completely scrap the fee for replacing lost university ID cards.

When the charge was first introduced, I was clear that the charge was unjustifiable when a university ID is required for accessing basic services on campus - including the Library and many other key University buildings outside of normal working hours.

I am therefore delighted to report that, following our success in getting the fee halved from £10 to £5 last year, it has now been abolished completely! This is another win for students in the fight to make our university an affordable institution which puts students first.
