Warwick STAR Presents: Lord Alf Dubs in Discussion

Event from Warwick STAR

Thursday 12 March 2020, 6:30pm - 8pm

For our final event of T2, and the final event of the 2019/20 exec, we are pleased to say we have kept our most prestigious event till last. Warwick STAR is honoured to announce that none other than Lord Alf Dubs will be visiting Warwick University to give a talk and take part in a discussion on Thursday 12th March (W10) at 18:30 in OC0.03 (Oculus Building).

Warwick STAR Members: FREE (membership: £1.50)

Non-Members: £3.00

Lord Dubs is one of the UK's most prominent Refugee campaigners and since coming to the UK from Czechoslovakia on the Kinder-transport he has committed himself to improving the lives of Refugees and Asylum Seekers in the UK and abroad, most recently with the fight to allow unaccompanied Child Refugees status safe passage to the UK.

This promises to be a fantastic evening and we hope you are able to join us (and that you are as excited about this as we are!).
