FetSoc Welcome Talk

Event from Fetish Society

Monday 28 September 2020, midnight - midnight

TBC + online

Date, time and in-person location to be determined (please check back here for updates!)

An introduction to Warwick Fetish Society in the form of a short talk! We'll be covering a range of topics, including:

  • A brief history of BDSM

  • The importance of consent and negotiation

  • BDSM mythbusting

  • What does FetSoc do anyway?

There are currently 20 places available to attend the event in person in an appropriately socially distanced fashion, and the talk will also be simultaneously livestreamed via our Twitch channel. However, if University and Public Health England advice changes then the event will not be held in person and will instead be an online exclusive. If you intend to come in person, you must book your place in advance via the Welcome Week system. You do not need to book in advance if you will be watching via Twitch.

Please note that the in-person audience will not be visible on the recording, and the stream will not be available after the event. If you are nervous about attending the in-person event by yourself, contact us and we can arrange for an exec member to walk in with you.

Everyone is welcome at our events: you don't have to be kinky, just open minded and respectful! Our only requirements are that attendees are aged 18+ and are members of the University of Warwick.
