This remake takes us on an adventure into a spooky mansion, with a cast of recognisable faces (including Danny DeVito and Owen Wilson) and the perfect blend of fantasy, horror, and comedy. Disney’s Haunted Mansion spectacularly pays homage to the classic theme park ride – die-hard fans will notice the inclusion of Madame Leota, the Hatbox Ghost and several other easter eggs! For this new take on a classic Disney story, the cast stands out to me most. On top of the leading ensemble, the film is filled with celebrity cameos including the likes of Jamie Lee Curtis, Jared Leto and supernatural mainstay Winona Ryder. [Jay Patel]
