Events

We are full of hubris and know no fear, so we're running a large scale, day long, megagame based on Watch the Skies – where players take on the role of major governments responding to an alien invasion, or the mysterious aliens themselves!

The TL;DW is a day long (~7 hours) cross between XCOM and a Model UN, with inspirations from/room for RPG style improvising and LARP shenanigans aimed at ~40 players, about being world governments trying to achieve their goals while responding to the threat posed by the aliens and other global crises! (Or being aliens doing nefarious alien things.) Each human nation has four players:
* The Head of State, responsible for the overall running of their nation.
* The Chief of Defense, responsible for intercepting UFOs and the military response.
* The Foreign Minister, responsible for diplomacy and being the representative in the UN.
* The Chief Scientist, responsible for research and managing alien technology.

Things to note:
* If you want to make sure you're in a specific team, get four players, have everyone sign up together and tell control that once you get tickets.

* This is first come, first serve, both in terms of ticketing and role allocation - if you want a specific role, get in earlier rather than later, or join as a full team
