Digital Magic: the Gathering Booster Draft (Core Set 2021)

Event from Tabletop Games and Roleplaying Society

Tuesday 15 September 2020, 6:30pm - 10pm

Online

Draft is a competitive limited format for the card game Magic: the Gathering, where players draft cards and then play games against each other with the deck they build from their picks. At this event we will be drafting the new Core Set 21, followed by 3 matches. As we are drafting online, there are no physical packs handed out, entry is free, and prizes are not supplied.

Please note: due to the competitive nature of this format, we ask that you only join us for this event if you already know how to play Magic: the Gathering. If you’ve never drafted before, here is an introductory guide: https://www.flipsidegaming.com/blogs/magic-blog/a-beginners-guide-to-mtg-booster-draft to get you started. If you’re completely new to playing Magic, we recommend you turn up to a Casual Card Games session and talk to one of our exec to learn!

How to access event:  Please join our Discord server via the invite link https://discord.gg/rsmuF27, as we will be using the text and voice chat to play. We draft via https://dr4ft.info/ (browser-based, no sign up required) or Tapped Out (browser-based, free account needed), and then play games via Cockatrice (https://cockatrice.github.io/). Please make sure to download and install Cockatrice ahead of time, and make an account on their servers Rooster Ranges and/or Chickatrice. If you have any questions, please ask on our Discord server.
