Get ready for an action-packed day of fun and fierce competition at our annual charity tournament! We’re hosting the most thrilling inter-club netball matches around, and we’re also raising money for Helping Hands, our chosen charity this year.

Event: 

Date & Time: Wednesday 19th June, from 10:30am to 4pm 

• Venue: Outdoor Courts, Sports Hub

How entering the tournament works

• Please form a team before buying tickets. (Minimum 7, maximum 10) 
• Nominate a captain 
• Ask everyone in the team to buy a ticket ASAP to ensure you do not miss out! 
• DM a list of names in your team, who have bought tickets, to the UWWNC Instagram (If you want to enter more than one team please name them differently)
• Coordinate outfits within your team! (There may be a prize for best dressed!!) And get ready for the tournament! 

On the day 

Registration and warm-ups will begin at 10:30 

Matches will start at 11

The number and length of matches will be determined after we know how many teams have entered but rest assured there will be a lot of match play 

Snacks and drinks will be sold throughout the day, with all proceeds going to charity. Please make sure you bring cash! 

There will be medals/trophies for the winners of the tournament along with other prizes!

Purpose:

‘Helping Hands extends compassionate and practical support to those struggling with the causes and effects of homelessness and trauma providing a safe space and practical support to thousands of vulnerable people experiencing homelessness, domestic abuse, addiction, isolation, poverty and mental health challenges. Helping Hands believe very much in providing a ‘hand-up’ not just a ‘hand out.’ Their mission is to empower everyone who comes to them to realise their full potential and create a brighter future’
