Education is life-changing. But what inequalities are there accessing education, and why do they exist? What are the solutions to these historic problems in education, and how has the pandemic impacted this??
Join WES for a discussion on “Issues In Access to Higher Education - Problems and Solutions” on the 16th of November, 18:00 GMT.
To discuss this topic we will be joined by representatives from the Bank of England, SEO London, Discover Economics, and Zero Gravity.
The Bank of England is the UK’s central bank and is responsible for maintaining its monetary and financial stability. They also have an education sector that provide students with economic knowledge and speakers to help them with their studies. The guests that will join us from their education division are yet to be released.??
SEO London is a charity focused on preparing talented students from ethnic minority or low socioeconomic backgrounds for career success. We will be joined by their CEO, Andrew Fairbairn, and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Expert Dumi Senda. ??
Discover Economics is an institute who are passionate about spreading awareness for economics and the opportunities it provides beyond education. The guests that they will be represented by are yet to be released.
Zero Gravity is mentorship scheme that helps students from poorer backgrounds achieve the university of their dreams. We are honored to welcome their CEO Joe Seddon to speak at the event.??
