About Me:
I'm Mads, a first year History student. I am currently Warwick Labour's Disability and Mental Health Caucus Lead and this has led me to hear how marginalised groups are further impacted when fighting for provisions. I have first hand experience with this as I am currently being tested for autism, something that I have had to push very hard for. This is why I believe strongly in a people-led approach to student issues. In my work as a Youth Council member, I saw how important personal testimonies were in reforming policies and this influenced my work on mental health. There is much more that can be done to accomodate all needs on campus, and this starts with listening to you.
