Manifesto
I will aim to campaign for and collaborate towards a safer, more liberated campus for all femme students by...
- Continuing and expanding the free period products program, in light of the cost of living crisis, and ensuring that they are in every university building
- Increasing awareness and accessibility of the support available through Well-being services and Report and Support in regards to sexual violence through collaboration with the Welfare officer
- Campaigning for a society-specific anti-spiking and sexual violence strategy whereby execs feel empowered to protect their society members from harm
- Increase availability of condoms and other forms of concraception
- Create a student network whereby women at Warwick can find 'walking buddies' to ensure that no one has to walk around on campus in the dark alone
- Campaign for the presence of trained femme pastoral care in POP! and other SU events to ensure that incidences of sexual violence, misogyny, or any other gender-based discrimination are handled with care
Strategy
- Collaborating with the Anti-Sexism Society and Warwick Pride to ensure I am immersed in an intersectional understanding of the needs of Warwick's woman-identifying students
- Collaborating with the Anti-Racism Society to ensure that the needs of woman ethnic minorities are put at the forefront of new campaigns and SU goals
