NOGA AND KIRSTEN FOR LGBT+ OFFICERS

Education Not Exploitation Slate

BUILDING QUEER COMMUNITY

Noga (she/he/they) is a queer, non-binary fresher studying HisPol, and Kirsten (she/her) is a bisexual woman in her first year studying PolSoc!

QUEER WELLBEING

Create and uphold regular, accessible sessions for queer people to come together and talk through our uniquely difficult experiences. We all deserve to find support in our community for queer traumas that other wellbeing services cannot understand.

QUEER CONNECTIONS

Form internal alliances, build solidarity, and create a greater understanding of other people across the community, through formal and informal events from panels and coffee mornings to drag nights and socials.

EDUCATION AND SUPPORT

Set up a queer-specific anonymous question service, particularly for those questioning, closeted, or looking for sex-ed. Raise awareness about queer issues on campus, particularly of same sex sexual assault, and run educational events on queer history, representation, and advocacy.

Our Experience

Ran multiple school societies, including Pride Club.

200+ hours spent volunteering for local and national charities.

Accomplished public speakers, activists, and organisers.

Noga organised climate strikes at an international level.

Noga was named on Evening Standard’s Most Influential Londoners (2019) and on Forbes’ UK Top Environmentalists (2020).
