Who are we? 

Eman (she/her)

  • First-year PAIS student

  • Organiser for Recognize- working to combat FGM

  • Volunteer for African Relief Fund

  • Part-time English tutor.

Naomi (she/her)

  • First-year GSD student

  • Writer for GLOBUS

  • Co-founder of Fast Fashion Mobilisation

  • Youth Strike 4 Climate organising                                                                                                        


We are passionate about antisexist and antiracist organising, and how we can bring that to the SU!


Integrate an intersectional approach.

  • Collaborate with other SU officers and societies to encourage an intersectional approach to student issues

  • Put pressure on Warwick to combat gendered Islamophobia

  • Push for departments to make their Decolonisation policy clear on department pages

  • Push for a gym space for self-identifying women, once the gym is able to reopen

  • Be accountable to women on campus and ensure they are able to easily contact us and give feedback


Make campus a welcoming space.

  • Implement an Adopt-A-Sister Scheme for incoming freshers

  • Make campus a safer space through improved street lighting and working with management to identify areas that need work

Real action against sexual assault.

  • Improve the Report and Support system by pushing for better capacity, training and awareness of intersecting factors such as race and sexual orientation

  • Revise the Moodle course given to us at the beginning of the year and implement obligatory online (and in person, once the pandemic allows) education for all students, both freshers and returners

  • Stress the need for trigger warnings when discussing sexual assault 

  • Continue supporting the motions from the ASV and ensuring the liberation societies’ leaflet is distributed in Freshers

Tackle period poverty

  • Campaign for free sanitary product dispensers in all uni buildings, including gender-neutral toilets
