Let’s take up space...
Who are we?
We are passionate about antisexist and antiracist organising, and how we can bring that to the SU!
Integrate an intersectional approach.
Collaborate with other SU officers and societies to encourage an intersectional approach to student issues
Put pressure on Warwick to combat gendered Islamophobia
Push for departments to make their Decolonisation policy clear on department pages
Push for a gym space for self-identifying women, once the gym is able to reopen
Be accountable to women on campus and ensure they are able to easily contact us and give feedback
Make campus a welcoming space.
Real action against sexual assault.
Improve the Report and Support system by pushing for better capacity, training and awareness of intersecting factors such as race and sexual orientation
Revise the Moodle course given to us at the beginning of the year and implement obligatory online (and in person, once the pandemic allows) education for all students, both freshers and returners
Stress the need for trigger warnings when discussing sexual assault
Continue supporting the motions from the ASV and ensuring the liberation societies’ leaflet is distributed in Freshers
Tackle period poverty
