Parking Permits

There are a few different ways to get a parking permit for your Club or Societies. SU Parking Permits are valid in "General" car parks around campus. Staff Car Parks (including Lynchgate, next to Tesco) are not included. Please consult the map if unsure.

Annual Permits

We have an allocation of permits from the University for groups that require them on a regular basis to support core activity. Details will be sent out to execs over the summer break. The demand for Society permits far exceeds the allocation, so we do have to prioritise based on need.

If you have been allocated an annual permit, you (or your group's President) can manage this on https://warwick.ac.uk/about/campus-journey/mode-of-travel/car-parking/su/societiesandsports/

The vehicle details saved onto the page will act as the active vehicle unless you update and submit new vehicle details, which will override any existing records.

You may only change your vehicle once every 48 hours to allow them time to process your submission; if you change your vehicle within this timeframe, you may risk being issued with a parking charge notice.

Ad-hoc Pool Permit

We have access to a pool of 13 parking permits that can be booked per day by exec, where essential for an ad-hoc event or use. You can book these here: https://warwick.ac.uk/about/campus-journey/mode-of-travel/car-parking/pool_permits/

Specific Event Parking Requirements

For parking to support larger events, external speakers, or the Piazza and Benefactors Space during approved events, please contact transportmobility@warwick.ac.uk
