Hi everyone,
Quick one from me this week. Before anything else, we’re starting something important this Thursday at 1pm. We’re taking the SU out to first year students living off campus. I’ll be at City Village, Belgrade Plaza accommodation for a drop in, just to listen really.
I want to hear how it’s actually going for you and what we can do better. If you’re based there, come say hi. If not, more of these are coming soon, and we have a survey to share some feedback.
We need to show up where you are, not just expect you to come to us.
Big reminder as well that Spring Officer Elections nominations close this Friday at 12pm. If you’ve ever complained about something on campus, this is your moment. Genuinely. The SU only changes when students step up. Don’t overthink it, just put your name forward.
The 46th Real Ale Festival is back in the Copper Rooms from Thursday to Saturday. It’s one of those proper Warwick traditions that’s been around longer than most of us. Go with friends, try something new, enjoy it.
Finally for final year students, please fill out the National Student Survey. It might feel like just another form but it actually shapes funding, courses, and how the University is judged nationally. It matters more than people think.
