Revolt Sexual Assault, a national charity, has established a national student sexual assault survey, in partnership with the UK's leading online community, The Student Room.
This survey will be the first of its kind in the UK for a decade. It will generate insights on prevalence of sexual violence experienced by students, as well as reporting rates and accessibility of support services.
Your participation in this research is so incredibly valuable: it gives Revolt the evidence that could drive much-needed reform in higher education policy relating to sexual violence. It can compel universities to provide more support for survivors of sexual assault and harassment.
Your experiences matter, and we want to make sure they are heard. As a thank you for your support, a randomly-selected participant from the survey will win a £50 Amazon voucher, and Revolt will also donate an equivalent amount to the charity Rape Crisis on your behalf.
Fill in the survey online HERE.
The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete, and will ask you questions relating to sexual assault and harassment at university that you may have experienced or witnessed. Please be reassured that all survey responses are fully anonymous.
However, while some questions in this survey are general, some are more specific. If there is a risk of you being triggered by recounting your experiences then please do exit the survey at any time at all, and please do seek support.
If you are a victim of sexual assault or harassment, you can find out more information about places to get support via our Advice Centre webpages HERE.
