Salary

Starting Salary - Approximately £12,532 per annum. Pro rata of £17,934 per annum with a 16 week probationary period.

Hours

Part Time – 25.5 hours per week. Some weekend and evening working may be required from time to time for special events.

Warwick SU are looking for a key addition to its team within Membership Services

 

You will help support and coordinate the Student Staff Liaison Committees (SSLC) system, particularly elections and meetings. You will develop productive relationships with academic departments in order to improve the SSLC system and to work closely with the Education Officer, Postgraduate Officer and other academic representatives to ensure student voice is heard. 

 

You will be responsible for maintaining a filing system of committee papers for University committees and ensure elected representatives, officers and staff advisors are supplied with relevant papers as necessary.     

 

Improvements to our members academic experience is at the heart of the Students’ Union, and we are dedicated to ensuring our members get the most from their time at Warwick through social interaction, representation and involvement.

 

In order to succeed, you must possess strong administrative skills and expertise and have experience of working with students and / or young people.   You must also possess excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.  Knowledge and experience of working in Higher Education is essential
