The Warwick National Novices Competition 2021 is a fun, friendly novice level foil competition for university fencers. Anyone who has started fecing in the last 3 years and is at university can participate. We run a Men's competition (Maximum 49 entries) and a Women's competition (Maximum 35 Entries), both of which will run on the 4th December 2021. It's a great oppertunity to get more experience fencing in a friendly environement and learn more about how fencing works.

The Women's compeition will be 7 poules of 5 before a Direct Elimination round. Registration for the Women's competition will open at 11:00, and the poules will run concurrently after the Men's poules have concluded from around 12:00. The results of the Poules will be used for seeding for the Direct Elimination round, which will run in the afternoon alongside the Men's.

All fencing will conclude by 18:00, with a short results ceremony to announce winners in various categories.

The Competition will be held at the Xcel Leisure Centre (Mitchell Avenue, Coventry, CV4 8DY), just outside of the University Campus. Parking will be available on site.
