Come see Superbad presented with stunning 4K laser projection on the big screen in L3!

If — like myself — you adored the misadventures of The Inbetweeners during your teenage years, let me introduce you to Superbad (fear not, the title is not an indication of quality). Superbad stars Jonah Hill and Michael Cera as high school students Seth and Evan, who experience a wild night of teenage antics alongside Emma Stone, Seth Rogen, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse as the iconic McLovin. Perhaps the most reliable marker of a good comedy is memorable lines, and Superbad delivers. Unfortunately, many such lines would not be appropriate to quote here but, I assure you, they’ll stick in the mind (for better or worse). However, despite its juvenile humour, Superbad ultimately hits home with a bittersweet ending that reckons with the inevitability of new beginnings. As such, with another year beginning here at Warwick, Superbad is perfect viewing for Welcome Week. [Sam Ripley]
