What is a Megagame?

Megagames are large-scale Tabletop game which combine Boardgames, LARP, Wargames and RPGs, taking the best elements from all of them! Players take part in strategising, planning and negotiating with other teams and other players in order to put themselves in the best position for success! Megagame is fast paced, dynamic and very chaotic, but sure to be a good time!

What is Watch the Skies?

Watch the Skies is a very well-known megagame, written in 2013, it's about governments managing relations between themselves, as well as battling an alien invasion!

The Logistics

Watch the Skies will take place on the 16th of January 2027 from 10am-6pm in Westwood Teaching. There will be some pizza provided at lunchtime, though supplies will be finite, so we encourage you to also bring food (and water) for yourself. Other than that all you need to bring is yourself, and lots of energy to get you through the day! After you've purchased the ticket, please contact one of the exec organisers (Skye, President; Sean, BGs Rep; Fate, RPGs Rep; Noah, CCGs Rep; or Erin, Co-op and Welfare Officer) who will give you access to the event discord server. There, you will be assigned a role to determine your part for the day.
