Join us just in time for Diwali to learn how to make some wonderfully syrupy Gulab Jamun.

Gulab Jamun is a mithai originating from India, commonly had around special celebrations such as Diwali. It is a milk based dough that is deep-fried in balls and then soaked in a fragrant syrup usually containing cardamom, saffron, and rose water (Gulab means rose!)

In this class, we will be using a recipe from a sweet auntie called Manjula who was the first person to ever upload a recipe of any kind to YouTube!

Malaysian Night (MNight) 2027: 6th February; Warwick Arts Centre; Warwick Malaysian Night (MNight) is a theatrical performance where we showcase Malaysian cultural performing arts. The show will focus on a storyline relatable to Malaysians and will be integrated with traditional and modern performances.

University of Warwick 9th Rapidplay: 13th February; Westwood Teaching Centre; The University of Warwick 9th Rapidplay is an official ECF & FIDE-rated chess tournament held on Westwood campus. It will take place all day on Saturday the 13th of February in the Westwood Teaching Centre. Cash prizes up for grabs!
