On Saturday 17th of May, our Equal Access Coordinators, alongside our Exec and volunteers, held a ‘Family Open Day’ , in collaboration with the Widening Participation Team at Warwick and Refugee Education UK.

The day involved campus tours, a session from Crafting with Happiness and a presentation from Warwick Islamic Society on student life, as well as valuable information from the Widening Participation team regarding scholarships available at Warwick for people seeking sanctuary.

2.Football training session & match

In April, in collaboration with the University of Warwick Women’s Football and Futsal Club, we hosted a football training session and match for participants from our Youth club, as part of our Refugee Welcome Initiative. The event gave an opportunity for a fun, welcoming and accessible space for individuals seeking sanctuary.
