Looking for free or low-cost food while you’re at Warwick? Food for Thought brings together free breakfasts, food provisions and other support available to students during term time. We know that the cost of living can make it harder to afford food, so we’ve pulled together the different options available across campus and in the local community to make them easier to find.

Find free food on campus

Our Free Food Calendar shows what food is available and when, helping you find options that fit around your timetable. It includes free breakfasts and lunches, food events, community fridges, Pay It Forward options and other free or low-cost provisions. The calendar covers the teaching term and will be updated each term as availability changes.

Check the calendar below to see what’s available and plan ahead.

Other food support

You can also find community fridges across campus at:

  • Main Campus

  • Gibbet Hill

There are also Pay It Forward options at participating campus cafés. If you’re looking for support beyond campus, the calendar includes free and low-cost food options in the local community, as well as information about foodbanks and emergency support.

You don’t have to go without

If you’re struggling to afford food, you’re not alone. There are options available to help, and we want to make them as easy as possible to find.
