Come along to hear about the economics of food choices, from sugar taxes and subsidies to the politics of eating well 🍎💸. We're delighted to be joined by Prof. Thijs van Rens, who will be talking about his research on fiscal interventions in the food system and what policy can (and can't) do to fix it 🏛️.

In this session, you'll have the chance to step into the shoes of a food policy designer for the evening, wrestling with real-world trade-offs around health, sustainability, and personal responsibility. But don't worry — no economics background needed! In fact, fresh perspectives and bold ideas are very welcome, just bring your curiosity and appetite for debate 🧠!
