The Union Awards are our annual event where we award students, academics and university staff who go above and beyond to create change and an exceptional student experience here at Warwick.

Your Students’ Union is democratic and student-led, so these awards are perfect to showcase the value and impact your involvement has to the Warwick community.

This year our Union Awards will take place in the on the 16th June 2026 Atrium from 17:30 - 20:00

Join us for an evening of celebration, recognition, and glamour. The event will have an Oscar-style atmosphere with a red carpet, VIP area, and a formal dress code for all attendees. Enjoy drinks and food upon arrival from with the formal awards ceremony following soon after. 

Nominations for the awards open on Nominations open 16th March 12:00 and close on 5th May 12:00 

This year, the Union Awards will continue to recognise outstanding students and staff who help make Warwick SU a vibrant place to study, work, volunteer, and socialise. From Course Reps and Execs to Societies, Sports Clubs, academics, and support staff, this is an opportunity to celebrate those who contribute to the success of our community. 

The ceremony will end with two big awards - Society of the Year and the Kevin Gately Award for Student Activism

The Atrium will be dressed in the same format as last year (black and gold theme), ensuring a familiar yet elevated ambiance for the occasion.
