BHM Project – Standing Firm in Power and Pride

Event from Campaigns & Communities

Tuesday 28 October 2025, 2.00PM - Tuesday 28 October 2025, 4.00PM

Copper Room 2, Warwick Students’ Union

This year’s Black History Month theme, Standing Firm in Power and Pride, highlights the resilience, leadership, and cultural heritage of Black communities while celebrating identity, empowerment, and progress.

As part of the celebrations, students are invited to a special T-shirt design workshop. This creative space offers the chance to design unique T-shirts that showcase resilience, heritage, and pride - while reflecting the influence of Black communities in shaping change, challenging injustice, and celebrating identity and belonging.

There will also be music and sweet treats to enjoy as we come together to honour Black excellence - past, present, and future.
