Jigsaw imagines the world as a puzzle: made up of pieces that appear separate, but reveal a deeper story when joined together. This theme explores how ideas, disciplines, and experiences interlock to form the bigger picture of human understanding.
Like a jigsaw puzzle, each piece, science, politics, psychology, art, technology, and history, offers only part of the truth on its own. When the pieces connect, hidden meanings emerge: the patterns behind our decisions, the structures shaping society, the contradictions that spark creativity, and the narratives that define us.
Speakers might explore how we “fit together” as communities, how overlooked fragments influence the whole, or how reframing a single piece can change the entire picture.
Jigsaw asks us to step back, zoom out, and reconsider the connections we didn’t realise were there. It’s a theme about connections, perspective, and uncovering patterns from complexity.
