Phase one of the Union rebuild is now complete, with both venues being well received by students and customers, and proving commercially successful.
Phase 2 is underway and is going quite well, with the contractors meeting the agreed targets. Because of operational constraints on site, Phase 2 is now split into two phases of its own. Phase 2a opens in October and includes the atrium, deli and pool room. Phase 2b, which comprises the Terrace Bar and Piazza Café, will be open around Christmas.
